Father’s Day

I was going to do this post before Father’s Day but I had the following conversation with my hubby:

Me: Do you ever look at me blog?

Jake: Some times? Why?

Me: Just wondering.

Jake: You are going to post something you don’t want me to see. I’m going to check it everyday.

Now, he probably didn’t mean it AND probably hasn’t even looked at my blog since that conversation BUT I love surprises and I didn’t want him to see.

This was the cute little table I had all the presents on.

I got the printable here.  The banner was much bigger (two ties per page) so re-sized it to 8 ties letters per page {I had a small space}.

I got Jake a air tight container filled it with pistachios and put subway art vinyl on it. I got the Dad Subway Art Here.

I saw this post for home made magnets that look like iPhone icons – and knew I had to make them for my dad. I used scrabble tiles and ModPodge Dimensional Magic. They turned out great!

Father’s day was a huge sucess and lots of fun. I had my dad, brother, sister & brother-in-law over for dinner. It was a great day to celebrate the wonderful men in my life.

{He probably doesn’t ever read this} BUT I also want to give a shout out to my AWESOME husband. He is my best friend and my rock. I love you Jake!
